Scope of Work: Packaging Rebrand, Seasonal/Limited Edition Packaging Designs

Tropic Skincare, a multi-award-winning natural skincare brand, is known for its plant-powered, clinically proven products and commitment to sustainability. As one of the UK’s fastest-growing beauty brands, its packaging and branding no longer matched its innovative, eco-conscious values, prompting a refresh to better reflect its green ethos.

Brand Goal

To establish a packaging refresh that aligns with the brand's eco-conscious values while emphasising its innovative and natural identity, enhancing both sustainability and brand cohesion.

Design Notes

Inspired by the natural origins of each product’s ingredients, individual plant illustrations were designed to highlight product uniqueness while maintaining brand cohesion through unified layouts and packaging forms. The design focused on enhancing the brand’s premium appeal and aligning with its eco-conscious mission by exploring sustainable packaging solutions. These included reusable, refillable, or recyclable materials, while reducing reliance on less eco-friendly components such as glue and plastic.

The Results

The rebrand emphasised sustainable and innovative packaging solutions, such as using post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, minimizing single-use plastics, and adopting refillable options. These efforts strengthened Tropic’s eco-conscious positioning and helped them build trust with environmentally conscious consumers, contributing to the brand’s growth and reputation as a leader in sustainable beauty practices​
